Program Description Hepatobiliary scintigraphy is a radionuclide diagnostic imaging study that traces the production and flow of bile from the liver through the biliary system and into the intestines. Sequential images of the liver, biliary tree and gut are used to evaluate liver function and patency of the biliary tract. This program will allow the pharmacist to understand how hepatobiliary scintigraphy, as well as cholecystokinin infusion, is used in the diagnosis of gall bladder disease.
