Pharmacy Technicians are key players in the healthcare team, and they play a vital
role in the management of cancer patients. This module is for pharmacy technicians
who are interested in exploring and expanding their knowledge of oncology patient
management.
Topics to be discussed include overview of cancer and important terminology in cancer
care, financial barriers to oncology patient care, safe handling of oncology drugs
and an introduction to cancer treatment regimens where colorectal cancer treatments
are reviewed.
The target audience for this activity includes pharmacy technicians. Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
