Description

Join us for this annual webcast that provides updates on hot topics related to antibiotic stewardship and microbiological testing. This year’s webcast will include recent CLSI antimicrobial susceptibility testing updates. We will discuss ways to incorporate these changes in your antimicrobial stewardship efforts and collaboration opportunities with stewardship and the microbiology laboratory.

Learning Objectives

The target audience for this activity is pharmacists and Laboratory Professionals. At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Discuss updates to the 2021 CLSI standards for antimicrobial susceptibility testing and reporting.
  • Describe use of rapid methods for microbial identification and susceptibility testing.
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration between stewardship and the microbiology laboratory.
