Sexual harassment comes in a variety of forms and can severely impact harassed individuals,
witnesses, and employers. The consequences of harassment may result in legal issues,
reduction in workplace morale, and various health concerns. This written continuing
education activity will assist in increasing awareness of what constitutes sexual
harassment, the impact of harassment, what to do if you are harassed or a witness,
the responsibilities of the employer, and the protections that are in place for
those reporting harassment.
The target audience for this activity includes all healthcare professionals and associated staff.
